In terms of price, at present, the starting price of Wenjie M7 is 249,800 yuan, and the starting price of Wenjie M9 is 469,800 yuan. It is estimated that the starting price of Wenjie M8 will be somewhere in between, with a high probability of about 350,000 yuan, and it will mainly compete with the ideal L8 after listing in the future.

In terms of intelligent driving, Wenjie M8 is expected to be equipped with HUAWEI ADS 2.0 intelligent driving system like M9, including 1 192-line laser radar, 3 millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars and 11 high-definition cameras. With the integration of sensing BEV, it can identify all kinds of abnormal obstacles and realize the functions of high speed+urban pilot-assisted driving and parking service. In terms of intelligent cockpit, HarmonyOS 4.0 system will also be installed.

In terms of chassis, Wenjie M8 will also adopt Huawei Turing intelligent chassis, including all-aluminum alloy material, air suspension, CDC variable damping shock absorber and other configurations.
