Shanghai netizens bought this drink as "the hottest this summer", and the sales volume was actually higher than that of Coke

What is the most popular drink among Shanghai residents this summer? Which restaurants are the most popular when you go out to eat? Not Internet celebrities, not rookies, but many "old faces" and "time-honored brands". According to the results of online buying and auditions released by some Internet platforms recently, affordable food and catering are still the favorites of the market.

?

The Shanghainese drank 4 million bottle of salt soda

?

"I never expected that salt soda water is so popular in Shanghai, and its sales are higher than Coke." Li Yao is the person in charge of the operation of Tmall Supermarket in East China. Choosing the right goods for the supermarket is one of her daily jobs. Since entering the summer, she has found that salt soda water has quietly become popular on the platform, selling 5 million bottles in half a month, more than Coke, and becoming the sales champion of carbonated beverages; what surprises her even more is that, "After pulling the background data, I found that 80% of them were bought by Shanghai netizens."

?

"My parents are both employees of state-owned enterprises. When I was a child, every summer, there was salt soda water in the high-temperature benefits issued by the factory. At first, it was produced by the factory and filled in beer bottles, and then bottled, ‘Yanzhong’ brand." Liu Cheng is a "Shanghai boy" born in the 1980s. He still remembers the old taste of summer, and he found that the old taste of salt soda water has not disappeared these years, but has a new taste: "Now there are lemon flavors, cherry flavors… They are all sold online. When I buy it, I not only drink it myself, but my four-year-old son also likes to drink it. My parents feel very nostalgic."

?

Liu Cheng said that some time ago, Bright Ice Bricks and Popsicles attracted a lot of attention, and some people felt that they couldn’t buy them, but he felt that many time-honored brands were available on the Internet, so it was still very convenient to buy them. Moreover, the Internet’s role in the dissemination of time-honored brands and old products was also obvious: "I think the Internet has a great influence on time-honored brands. A few days ago, I saw that the post-95s in the office were also drinking salt soda water. When I asked, I said it was an’Internet celebrity ‘drink, because there was a line in the online drama" Love Apartment "called’I’ll spray you to death with a mouthful of salt soda water’, and they also knew it."

?

Online platforms find opportunities in affordable foods such as salt soda and bright cold drinks. Chen Zhengmin, a staff member of Tmall Supermarket, believes that the most important thing for a platform to gain consumer recognition is to provide the products they want. From the recent hot-selling salt soda and affordable cold drinks, it can be seen that the market appeal of old products and time-honored brands is still very strong, which requires us to do what we like.

?

Li Yao sees opportunities for old products and time-honored brands in new markets: "In fact, as long as many products are properly promoted, many young people will pay for them. For example, salt soda, in addition to the nostalgic consumers who will buy it, many young people also find that this drink is especially suitable for replenishing trace elements lost by sweating. It is the Chinese version of a sports drink, so in addition to quenching thirst in midsummer, it is also suitable for sports people such as running and playing ball. At the same time, the average age of consumers in Tmall supermarket is 5 years younger than that of offline stores, which means that old products and time-honored brands can explore the taste of new markets online." She also revealed that in order to "reverse the growth" of old products and time-honored brands, Tmall has also launched the "Tianzihao" plan. In addition to Yanzhong, Zhengguanghe, Guangming and other time-honored brands that have recently attracted much attention, there are also more than 30 Shanghai time-honored brands such as Shen Dacheng, Xinghualou, Gongdelin, Xinya, Dabai Rabbit, and Shao Wansheng, which have settled in and actively interact with consumers through various activities.

Affordable snacks are a "must-eat in Shanghai"

?

Xiao Long Bao, Fried Scallion, Noodles Mixed with Scallion Oil, White Chicken, Braised Pork, Sweet and Sour Steak, Oil-fried Shrimp, Pickled Button Fresh, Hairy Crab… These were the must-eat meals in Shanghai in the eyes of netizens, and local snacks and home-cooked dishes accounted for the vast majority. Looking at the "Shanghai Must-Eat" restaurants that netizens "auditioned", there were many roadside shops with a per capita price of only a few dozen yuan, and the signature dishes were precisely these local snacks or home-cooked dishes.

?

Just as Tmall "discovered" Shanghai’s Internet celebrity drinks and cold drinks, Dianping invited netizens to audition for "must-eat" dishes and restaurants around the world, and released the city’s must-eat list. From the Shanghai list, it is seen that the flavors and reasonable prices are the common denominators of the listed dishes and restaurants.

?

Huang Hai, senior vice president of Meituan Dianping, said that the purpose of launching the "Dianping Must-Eat List" is to actively explore the special cuisine of all parts of the country, so this list is mainly judged by netizens, rather than professional institutions or industry experts, hoping to use consumers’ eyes to choose their favorite restaurants. This year, the list also proposed the concept of "must-eat dishes in the city" for the first time, hoping to help the inheritance and development of local food culture.

?

"The selection of’must-eat restaurants in the city ‘is based on the online search volume and review volume of dishes in the city, and the final list is determined by the votes of local users. At the same time, for those’must-eat restaurants’, the weighted item of whether there is a’local must-eat ‘has also been added." Huang Hai said: "Although restaurants now promote cross-regional and integrated cuisine, we feel that in terms of’must-eat restaurants in the city’, we still need to restore the local taste, so we need to consider the preferences of local consumers."

?

Judging from the "Shanghai must-eat meals" and "must-eat restaurants" selected by netizens, the Shanghai-style region is full of characteristics: in terms of meals, they are all familiar specialties and dishes in Shanghai; in the restaurants, there are both local time-honored brands in Shanghai and Shanghai-style fusion dishes. Specifically, there are 91 restaurants in Shanghai selected for the "must-eat list", with an average unit price of 171 yuan. Among them, there are local noodle restaurants with a per capita consumption of less than 20 yuan, crab noodle soup dumpling restaurants with a per capita consumption of less than 100 yuan, but there are also fusion restaurants with a per capita consumption of more than 400 yuan. But overall, nearly 40% of the "must-eat restaurants" are authentic local restaurants, and the rest are mainly fusion dishes.

?

For the two lists of "must-eat meals" and "must-eat restaurants", many consumers feel that they are more down-to-earth than those selected by professional organizations. "A big feature is the high cost performance." White-collar Yu Mo boasted of being a "customer", and she carefully compared this list with the lists made by some professional organizations: "The per capita price is much lower. In the end, it is eaten by netizens themselves, and the price is relatively moderate. Everyone has the opportunity to try it. At least I plan to eat it according to this list."

?

"For business operators, it is also an inspiration – the market needs’sunshine and white snow ‘, but’Xialiba people’ are also very popular." Mr. Qi, a restaurant practitioner, believes that both the online audition list and the professional organization list have reference value: the former reflects the mass base, while the latter comes from the professional "tongue": "After all, it is impossible for every company to reach the three Michelin stars standard, so the easiest way to gain popularity is to see what ordinary people like."

"Fast and stable" to solve the battery anxiety of mobile phone users

– Exploring the quality code of Xiaomi’s ultimate innovation system for charging technology

Our reporter, Yue Qian

How to charge quickly is a must-have option in modern life, not only to be able to charge, but also as fast as possible. Xiaomi’s super fast charging technology has brought unexpected surprises to consumers: it only takes 8 minutes to fill a 4000mAh battery, enough to use normally for a whole day.

Xiaomi’s innovation has relieved people of the need to worry about running out of battery power on their mobile phones.

Imagine what you can do in the 8 minutes after getting up in the morning? Have a cup of coffee to refresh yourself? Simply stretch? Or take a shower? For Xiaomi’s phone, these 8 minutes are enough to power it up for the new day.

From the world’s first 120W wired fast charging technology to the world’s first 200W charging technology, Xiaomi has brought mobile phone charging into the "8-minute era", truly achieving a "qualitative change" in the charging experience, and allowing more and more users to completely bid farewell to power anxiety.

Behind this technological change is the ultimate innovation system of mobile phone charging technology launched by Xiaomi since September 2018. In just over two years, Xiaomi has completed the change from "chaser" to "transcendent" to "leader" in the field of mobile phone charging with the spirit of self-evolution, and once again verified the strong driving force of Xiaomi’s "user-centered" quality improvement concept.

The reporter conducted in-depth interviews with the ultimate innovation system of mobile phone charging technology to explore the quality code of Xiaomi’s charging technology evolution iteration.

Quality password one:

Driving technological innovation with user feedback

What is the driving force of technological innovation and quality improvement? At Xiaomi, this answer has long been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people – user-centered, with the ultimate goal of pursuing the ultimate user experience. For the research and development of charging technology, it is not only to make mobile phone charging faster and more stable, but also to make the charging experience better and cooler.

In the process of technological improvement, Xiaomi innovatively built the UIOCT system of charging technology. The system is based on improving the user’s charging experience, taking user feedback and pain points as the starting point and driving force for continuous technological innovation, and ending with the landing of new products requested by users. "For charging technology research and development, the user is the starting point and the end point" – this is the consensus of the charging technology team.

In order to truly understand the needs of users, the charging technology team collects user feedback and suggestions through various channels such as Xiaomi community, service system, customer service phone, etc., analyzes user pain points and makes improvements one by one. Many problems do not have ready-made solutions to learn from, and the team can only explore in the "no man’s land", through continuous trial and error to find the most satisfactory solution for users.

Can charging be faster? This is the common expectation of mobile phone users. Under the condition of existing lithium batteries, Xiaomi has created a multi-level progressive current regulation technology in the industry, which can refine the charging current step by step, effectively increasing the charging speed by more than 10%.

When charging, it generates heat, which is caused by the characteristics of the lithium battery of the mobile phone, and it is also a problem in the industry. Is it a detour or a face-to-face difficulty? Xiaomi’s engineers chose the latter and innovatively developed a dual-mode switching control technology, allowing users to adaptively switch the charging mode according to the usage scenario, effectively dispersing hotspots and bringing a better temperature rise experience.

Nowadays, in order to improve the battery power of mobile phones, mainstream manufacturers almost all adopt the "dual-cell" solution, but with it, the battery loss increases and the battery life is reduced. This is also the reason why users complain that "charging fast and falling fast". In this regard, Xiaomi once again broke out of the new track and innovatively developed the single-cell charging chip Surging P1, which makes the battery cell density higher and the battery life longer, achieving "both fish and bear’s paw".

In order to make charging more convenient, Xiaomi customized a fast charging cable. Considering that users may use other brands of charging plugs, engineers have carried out a large number of self-developed designs while also taking into account the charging compatibility of the cable. For all mainstream brands of chargers and mobile phones on the market, they have done technical tests. "This job is completely to make it more convenient for users to use." In order to solve the problem of incompatible charging plugs of a certain brand, engineers worked overtime until late at night for several days, and finally solved the problem, so as to ensure that users can enjoy a fast and stable charging experience no matter which charging plug they use.

It is worth mentioning that while solving users’ charging pain points, Xiaomi has also created a charging experience that exceeds expectations for users through technological innovation, and even changed consumers’ charging habits. Taking 200W second charging technology as an example, you can fully charge your phone in the morning, and you no longer have to worry about forgetting to charge. "Once you have this experience, you (users) can’t go back," the team leader said proudly.

Quality password two:

Establishment of an Interdisciplinary Expert Review Committee (TMG)

For a long time, the field of mobile phone charging technology has faced the "28 dilemma", that is, high-current charging time only accounts for 20% of the total charging time, but can charge 80% of the power; constant-voltage charging time accounts for 80% of the total charging time, and can only charge 20% of the power.

In order to solve the "28 dilemma", it involves charging solutions, charging chips, charging equipment and other departments and fields, each with its own technical difficulties and bottlenecks. In the face of new technical solutions, different departments will have different views. On the one hand is the solution to the problem that has been hard to come up with, and on the other hand is the latent risk that may arise. Should we continue or give up?

At the "crossroads" of technology, the cross-disciplinary expert review committee (TMG) built on Xiaomi’s organizational structure plays a key role.

Engineer Jiang Helin introduced that in order to break through the "28 dilemma", the Xiaomi charging technology team finally discussed and came up with the MI-FC solution idea of "increasing the voltage value of the battery and prolonging the charging time of high current" through dozens of brainstorms. However, increasing the voltage will cause risks such as excessive oxidation, resulting in shorter battery life.

Experts in different fields in TMG jointly review the technical solution from objectives, risks to feasibility, leadership and other dimensions. In the technical pre-research stage, TMG can accurately and quickly determine the solution; in terms of solving technical differences, TMG can upgrade the device pre-research to the whole machine charging pre-research, realizing from a single partial design to overall performance debugging, thereby improving the user experience.

Specific to the MI-FC technical solution, TMG experts anticipate that the solution is feasible and recommend that aging tests be carried out as soon as possible to verify whether there is a risk of excessive oxidation. After a series of work such as proofing and testing, the team spent more than 5 months to finally formulate a feasible plan. Due to sufficient pre-research, the plan was successfully transplanted to the device-level project, which greatly reduced the time required to develop the device and fully guaranteed the research and development efficiency.

Not only the MI-FC technical solution, but also the more than 800 patents applied by the project team are inseparable from the technical assistance of TMG. TMG comprehensively considers and evaluates various technical solutions to ensure the accuracy of the research and development direction and escort the overall innovation of mobile phone charging technology.

Quality password three:

The research and development of excellence

In the process of reaching the peak of technology, the Xiaomi charging technology team also encountered many difficulties, but every time they relied on uncompromising research and development determination to successfully break through.

Li Min, an engineer at the baseband technology department of the hardware R & D department, said that in order to achieve 120W second charging, Xiaomi specially developed a custom charging chip. But less than four months before mass production, the chip temperature was too high. "There was too much pressure at that time, but we had to find out the reason." Li Min said that Xiaomi has never been vague about the quality requirements of the product.

The team and suppliers sorted out all possible reasons from hardware to software, and the technicians directly entered the factory to conduct nearly a month of non-stop testing, troubleshooting problems one by one, and conducting 500 to 700 stress tests on each batch of new samples (under normal circumstances, only one stress testing is required). Finally, the yield of customized chips was reduced from the highest 1000ppm to less than 50ppm, fundamentally solving the quality risk of chips, and bringing the most advanced charging experience to the long-awaited users as scheduled.

In the eyes of the engineers of Xiaomi’s charging technology team, records are meant to be broken. After achieving the 120W second charging technology, Xiaomi continued to explore the "no man’s land" in the field of second charging technology and began the research and development of the 200W second charging technology.

In order to avoid the short circuit problem that may be caused by high-power charging, the team needs to minimize the thickness of the battery pole pieces and minimize the transmission path, which brings great challenges to the processing process of the battery pole pieces. To this end, the engineers started from various aspects such as equipment improvement and process improvement. After many tuning on more than 6,000 batteries, they solved many problems such as pole piece fracture and curling. Finally, they successfully developed a 10C pole piece with a thickness of only half of the traditional pole piece, which is about the thickness of a piece of A4 paper. "At present, only Xiaomi can do it in the industry." Jiang Helin said proudly.

Those who win are powerful, and those who win are strong. In the eyes of reporters, Xiaomi’s charging technology is already leading the industry. But Xiaomi is putting pressure on itself to compete with itself in the "no man’s land" and constantly surpass itself, which is very commendable. For industrial development, this "leader" is leading the industrial chain, supply chain and quality chain to achieve a comprehensive leap, promoting the high-quality development of the smartphone industry, and accumulating more positive energy for China’s manufacturing "quality revolution".

[New car details]

1. the evolution of 1.Dragon Face design.

Han EV ※

BYD Han EV adopts a four-door coupe design as a whole, which has been upgraded and optimized on the basis of the family-style Dragon Face design language. Thanks to the body design concept of "front circle and rear", the drag coefficient of the new car is only 0.233Cd. The front of the new car adopts a closed grille, and the long and narrow LED light groups are connected by an iconic Dragon Face strip, and the LOGO position in the middle is engraved with the "Han" logo. There is a flat trapezoidal air inlet below, and a triangular air inlet on both sides. The penetrating semi-enclosed decorative strip further increases the texture and recognition of the front of the car.

On the side of the car body, the coupe-shaped lines are very obvious, and the door handle is hidden. The front of the D-pillar is decorated with unique chrome plating, which is said to be inspired by "Long Lin". The new car adopts a brand-new five-position wheel hub, which can effectively reduce wind resistance. The shape of the rear part of the car body is full and the lines are rich. A straight through taillight is used, and the middle part is marked with "BUILD YOUR DREAMS". In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4980mm, 1910mm and 1495mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2920mm.

Chinese DM ※

Compared with the grille-free front face of Han EV,Han DM models have different front face modeling schemes, using bright large mouth front grille similar to Qin Pro, Song Pro, Tang and other models, and using advanced gray car paint.

At the same time, the car will also provide two kinds of tyre size, 245/50 R18 and 245/45 R19, for consumers to choose from. The new car will provide panoramic skylights and various styles of rim shapes.

Wind resistance design of super-running stage ※

BYD Han successfully completed the wind tunnel test at the Shanghai Ground Vehicle Wind Tunnel Center, the busiest wind tunnel in Asia. The test results show that Han’s drag coefficient is only 0.233. This fully shows that BYD has reached the world’s leading technical level in body design and engineering manufacturing technology, and at the same time, it also shows BYD’s development ideas for Han models: to build an elegant style, collect BYD’s top technical resources, and build a new generation flagship car that conforms to the concept of low carbon and environmental protection.

Byd Han can achieve a drag coefficient of 0.233 (the drag coefficient of Tesla Model S is 0.24), which first benefits from the high integration of first-class modeling design and pneumatic engineering. Wolfgang Eiger, global design director of BYD, said: At the beginning of development, Han clearly wanted to realize the integration of beautiful design and high performance. Therefore, from the beginning, modeling design took the realization of ultra-low drag coefficient as an important goal.

Byd Han’s smooth lines from the front of the car, the roof to the rear of the car, every inch of the direction is based on the full consideration and in-depth study of the impact on airflow. This means that the resistance caused by the friction between the air and the car body is minimized, and at the same time, it will not cause the air to be thrown away from the car body, resulting in a low pressure area on the roof, reducing the downforce obtained by the car body and affecting the handling stability.

In the design of the front face, Han’s front cabin cover starts from a lower position than before, and the rounded arc outlines the smooth lines of the front face outline, which not only brings greater pressure difference between the upper and lower parts of the car body, but also obtains greater downforce, further ensuring the fit between the airflow and the car body.

Subsequently, the drop-shaped rearview mirror, hidden door handle and other designs fully integrated practical functions and low wind resistance characteristics, which cooperated with the smooth passage of airflow. Starting from the C-pillar, the upper part of the cabin gradually narrows, forming a beautiful and powerful wide shoulder shape, and also continuing the airflow direction that fits the car body.

Pneumatic separation of the tail, through the elegant and powerful pneumatic separation design on both sides of the tail, the airflow on both sides of the car body leaves almost in a straight line after coming to the tail, avoiding being involved in the vortex area of the tail, and realizing the ingenious integration of beautiful design and low wind resistance.

2. Interior Chinese aesthetic design (importent information)

The overall design of BYD Han center console is balanced and symmetrical, with the large-size suspended central control panel as the center, extending to the ends of the left and right door panels along the central axis, outlining a core line that connects the first half of the cockpit, creating a full sense of embrace.

According to the manufacturer, this brand-new design language originated from the Forbidden City complex. Designers drew a lot of inspiration from the architectural arrangement and unique structural techniques in the Forbidden City, making BYD Han a perfect integration of Chinese architectural aesthetics and technological trends.

The whole interior of the new car is designed with red and black contrast colors, and red leather decoration is added in many details of the steering wheel and door panel lights, with all-red seats, which further enhances the luxury and exquisiteness of the car. The dashboard in the car adopts full LCD design, and the steering wheel also adopts a brand-new double flat-bottomed design. At the same time, the "2.0 LANE ASSISTANT" is displayed at the bottom of the steering wheel, which may indicate that a more advanced assisted driving system will be equipped.

The co-pilot’s front decorative panel is also integrated with Long Lin-style atmosphere lights, and the air outlet of the air conditioner has a relatively "staggered" position arrangement, so that they are in a zigzag layout in spatial structure. BYD’s "BYD-HEART" design concept is adopted in the gear lever mining area, and all the main function buttons in the car are integrated on this panel. Besides gear shifting, it also has the functions of electronic handbrake, one-button start, volume adjustment, vehicle start/stop, mode switching, etc., which not only reduces the button setting on the center console, but also increases the convenience of the driver’s operation.

The sports seat is ergonomically designed, which is more in line with the human body curve, and can help relieve the fatigue caused by sitting for a long time. The seat is made of Nappa leather with the "Long Lin" pattern outlined by two-way stitching, which is in harmony with the elements in the car.

3. New Ferrous lithium phosphate "Blade Battery"

The NEDC cruising range of BYD Han EV is 550km (dual-motor model) and 605km (single-motor model), and the energy density of the battery system is 140 Wh/kg. The NEDC pure electric cruising range of Han DM (plug-in hybrid version) is 81km.

I can’t go home for the New Year, but I also have the warmth of home. The hometown that comes by express delivery is full of love.

□ Chutian Metropolis Daily News reporter Liu Qin
I received one package after another from my hometown, and the same delicious food was placed on the table. Although they were in a foreign land, they could not reunite with their families, but they still had a warm year.
This year, many people across the country responded to the government’s call and chose to celebrate the New Year on the spot. The care and blessings of relatives come to them with the package, which warms the hearts of wanderers.
A stranger who stayed in Han for the New Year.
Zhang Zhongyi, 26, comes from Yongzhou City, Hunan Province. In October 2020, he became a Selected Graduates in Wuhan, and now he is a member of the poverty alleviation team of Nanhu Street in Shiyang Village, Wuchang District.
In January this year, Zhang Zhongyi made plans to stay in China for the New Year. "I just joined the work and need more responsibility. I can stay in Wuhan and stand by at any time." Yesterday, Zhang Zhongyi told Jimu journalist.
Zhang Zhongyi and his wife
Zhang Zhongyi is an only child. After he told his parents about his decision to stay in Han for the New Year, he got their support.
On January 30th, Zhang Zhongyi married his girlfriend who had been in love for many years. To his delight, after his wife learned of his plan, she also gave up going back to her hometown in Yueyang, Hunan Province for the New Year and decided to stay in Wuhan to accompany him for the New Year.
"It’s the first time for both of us to spend the New Year outside." Zhang Zhongyi told reporters.
Compared with Zhang Zhongyi, Huang Hua from Enshi will spend the Spring Festival alone in the rental house. This will be his second time to spend the New Year alone. "The last time was last year, and I took the initiative to stay in Wuhan. I am still not used to it. After all, every Spring Festival before, I was with my relatives, and my rural hometown was lively and fun. " Huang Hua said. When he decided to stay in Han for the New Year again this year, his mind was full of scenes of family reunion, and he felt a little indebted to his parents.
Yang Tianchen and his wife
Also staying in Wuhan for the second Spring Festival is Yang Tianchen from Xiangtan City, Hunan Province. At the age of 30, he has worked in Wuhan for 9 years. He got married in September 2019, took his parents to Wuhan in January 2020, and the family spent the New Year in their new house. Due to the epidemic, his parents didn’t go home from Han until mid-April last year. "For more than ten years, this is the longest time I have stayed with my parents. I cherish the time I spent with them." Yang Tianqi said. Originally planned to return to his hometown in Hunan for the New Year this year, he responded to the call of the local government and decided to stay in Han for the New Year again, which not only reassured himself, but also reassured others.
Hubei people far away from home
Five years ago, in order to support her husband’s career and for the healthy growth of her children, Tian Xiujuan took her children and followed her husband to Hami, Xinjiang, 2300 kilometers away.
Tian Xiujuan’s family
Tian Xiujuan, 36, was born in a small mountain village in Hefeng County. For her, her hometown and Chinese New Year are closely related. In the first three years in Xinjiang, she and her husband returned to their hometown for the New Year.
Before the Spring Festival last year, Tian Xiujuan and her husband worried that the children had to travel too hard because their eldest son had just entered elementary school, so they decided to stay in Hami for the New Year. The three children were a little unhappy and often asked her, "When can we go back to our hometown? When can I see my grandmother? " At this time, Tian Xiujuan will miss her hometown and her relatives more.
"We originally planned to take our children home for the New Year this year, but we decided to stay after seeing local initiatives to celebrate the New Year." Tian Xiujuan said.
Tsang Man
Ceng Min, 26, comes from Xuanen County. After graduating from a master’s degree in 2019, she became a teacher in a school in Dongguan, Guangdong Province. Her brother is one year older than her and works in Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province. In 2020, both brothers and sisters harvested love. They made plans early and went back to their hometown for the New Year with their respective partners.
More than a month ago, Ceng Min and her boyfriend booked a high-speed train ticket from Dongguan to Enshi on January 25th. Her brother is going to return home on February 5.
Ceng Min’s parents are very happy to learn that the children are going home for the Spring Festival. Her father worked in Jiangsu, and went home more than a month in advance, renovated his home, installed air conditioning, and bought new quilts and shoes.
A few days before leaving, Ceng Min saw that all parts of the country called on everyone to celebrate the New Year on the spot, and most of her colleagues chose to stay. She couldn’t help but feel a little tangled. After much deliberation, late at night on January 24th, she withdrew her high-speed rail ticket and decided to stay in Dongguan for the New Year.
On January 25th, Ceng Min got up the courage and told his parents his decision. At the other end of the phone, my mother’s tone was full of disappointment: "How can you spend the New Year outside alone …"
To Ceng Min’s comfort, her brother was very supportive and he decided to stay in Zhongshan for the New Year.
A foreign land also has a taste of hometown.
These days, the Zhang Zhongyi family’s necessities are getting more and more every day. His parents bought two native chickens in their hometown and sent them by express delivery. This is his wife’s favorite food when she first went to her hometown with him. Zhang Zhongyi’s mother also specially called to teach him to cook chicken soup and stir-fry chicken. A big box full of express delivery, as well as homemade bacon, lotus roots, sweet potato chips …
My parents-in-law also sent many hometown delicacies to the young couple: beef, mutton, pig’s feet … The refrigerator at home was stuffed to the brim. "When eating New Year’s dinner, I will definitely make a big table dish and take a video for the elders of both sides to reassure them." Zhang Zhongyi said cheerfully.
Huang Hua
Huang Hua also received new year’s goods from his brother. He can’t wait to open the package, bacon, sauerkraut, etc. have been washed clean, and he only needs to fire and heat, and he can taste the happiness from his hometown.
"My brother asked me to open my mouth and said that he would send it after eating." Huang Hua told reporters. These delicious hometowns satisfied his appetite and made him miss his relatives in his hometown more.
Yang Tianchen, who has always loved to eat lard noodles, received 5 kilograms of lard and 2 native chickens from his mother, as well as more than 20 kilograms of meat, vegetables and radishes from his mother-in-law. "I don’t have to buy new year’s goods this year, I have everything ready." He said with a smile.
The rice cake made by my mother is Tian Xiujuan’s favorite, and the bacon in my hometown also reminds her. In order to make her daughter’s family have a delicious year, her mother, who is far away from home, sent Tian Xiujuan bacon, rice chaff, dried potato chips, local honey and fried rice … After receiving a heavy package, Tian Xiujuan was in a particularly good mood and carried it back to her home on the fourth floor.
Ceng Min’s brother and sister also received the New Year’s goods delivered by their parents. "Bacon, sausage, kang tofu, bean skin … and a vacuum-packed braised pork." Ceng Min introduced. These things, all made by my mother, are smells that can’t be bought outside.
"Next year, we can definitely go home for the New Year." Ceng Min said. No matter where you spend the New Year, your hometown is always a concern for wanderers. She hopes that when the spring blossoms and the epidemic dissipates, she will return to her hometown and reunite with her relatives.
