Russian archives exposed KGB’s evaluation of Putin: strong execution and well-deserved authority among colleagues.

[Global Network Reporter Wang Boyaqi] Before he was elected president of Russia, Putin had a KGB agent experience, which was quite mysterious. The Russian newspaper Izvestia reported on October 30 that the Central National Archives of Historical and Political Literature in St. Petersburg recently exposed a document, revealing the KGB’s evaluation of the former member’s work: strict discipline, strong execution, and well-deserved authority among colleagues.

"Izvestia" said that these documents were exhibited in an exhibition commemorating the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the archives, and related contents can be learned through the Russian "Channel 78" program. Some of these documents show that Putin has been working for the KGB since 1975, taking charge of organization and sports. During his work, he was "strict in discipline and strong in execution" and was still "constantly improving his ability".

Not only that, but in this document with an evaluation of Putin’s work, this former KGB agent is also described as a "young man with high morality and well-deserved authority among his colleagues."

Spain’s El Mundo once described Putin’s "health secret" in an article, "He is the most athletic president in the Kremlin, who loves hockey, swimming and hiking, and has won the judo competition." This is also mentioned in the above-mentioned exposed documents.

According to the report, the document shows that Putin often participated in sports competitions, became the Soviet Judo and Sambo Sports Master at the age of 23, and won the Leningrad Judo Championship in 1976.

Putin’s KGB career has long been an open secret, and he has always been proud that he was an intelligence officer. In 1975, Putin graduated from the Department of International Law of Leningrad University, completed KGB training in the second year, and entered the confidential department of Leningrad (now known as St. Petersburg) two years later. Putin worked in the department until 1983, and then went to the KGB school in Moscow for a year. From 1985 to 1990, Putin was sent by the KGB to work in Dresden, East Germany. After reunification, he was recalled to Leningrad. In 1991, Putin resigned from his job in the KGB while the KGB was plotting to overthrow Soviet President Gorbachev.
